Banksy

I wont say much here, as most of it has already has been said about Banksy. But what i will say is that he is one of the proponents of this art form that has demystified it to the general public. Is that a good or bad thing, depends on who you speak to, but he has become a hero for the modern graffiti artist, such as Cartrain.

This was there one day, gone the next. It was pure luck that i stumbled across this in Istanbul, but glad i did.

This was some time ago, but Banksy visited in Melb and threw a whole lotta his rodents around the place.

When i first went to Istanbul, i expected beautiful architecture and great food, but what i did not expect was the amazing graffiti. I also did not expect that graffiti artists such as Banksy and Invader. The number of graffiti channels is not as expansive as other cities such as London or Melbourne, but who need different mediums when you are doing such great work with what you already have.
