Exit Through the Gift

Exit Through the Gift Shop is directed by Banksy and tells the true story of how an eccentric French shop keeper turned documentary maker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner. The film contains exclusive footage of Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Invader and many of the world's most infamous graffiti artists at work, on walls and in interview. I cant wait to see this when its released in Australia, but here is a link the trailer.

Banksy

I wont say much here, as most of it has already has been said about Banksy. But what i will say is that he is one of the proponents of this art form that has demystified it to the general public. Is that a good or bad thing, depends on who you speak to, but he has become a hero for the modern graffiti artist, such as Cartrain.

This was there one day, gone the next. It was pure luck that i stumbled across this in Istanbul, but glad i did.

This was some time ago, but Banksy visited in Melb and threw a whole lotta his rodents around the place.
