Valencia, Spain

The New York style graffiti was a large influence on early graffiti styles in Valencia, which reflected the heavy admiration for African-American culture. As the style and times progressed, Valencia began to look and adopt the Mexican mural painting, comic book style. The graffiti that currently exists in Valencia is one that has absorbed these to styles and developed its own unique style. The graffiti in Valencia is allot more prolific than in any other Spanish city i have visited. It feels like the government sees the way it has beautified the city and have give the open canvases to the artists.
